We won 2-0

The gate was 9,293 at the Goldstone but as we were bottom of the bottom ofthe League that was understandable.

Not many travelled to Cardiff that year. Not many from Cardiff either. 3,500 or so in total.

Lots of big wins against Cardiff in the seventies before 20,000+ crowds.

Cardiff eventually made a spell of concerted pressure tell as they came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw at Brighton.

With both sides looking to move away from the bottom of the table, Leon Knight had given Albion an early lead, but having spurned a number of chances the visitors grabbed a late equaliser through Lee Bullock.

Forecasts:

I would be pleased with a draw without Michel Kuipers and Charlie OPatway, but I expect a single goal defeat.

Albion playing in yellow. Windy conditions.
