O/T: Why is take away pizza so expensive?

I'm just surprised at how expensive take away pizzas are, thats all.

I just ordered from dominos, and for a personal pizza with garlic mushrooms it came to nine quid!

Some of the bigger pizza on there own cost nearly fifteen pounds.

I'm a bit of a sucker for pizza, but its not really value for money is it??

I really like Domino's Pizza but it is a real rip off. Maybe I just have a big appetite but a pizza big enough for me by myself usually costs about £12+ and they're not that huge! I guess it's conveniance but for what pizza actually is it's bloody expensive - it's not like there's a huge amount of expensive ingredient on there, even if there is meat or fish it's pretty minimal and mostly processed crap!

Anyone tried Easy Pizza? The very thought of it turns my stomach but there's one in Hove and it's cheapish.

Its famous moes mate, and they use the chicago town frozen pizzas. complete scam.

I think Domino's are the best and worth the money. Famous Moes are not a patch. Those massive ones from Asda for about four quid are excellent value if you can be bothered to go and get one.

Domino's pizzas are HORRIBLE. Pizzaland etc are only slightly better.

The easy way to get a good pizza for less than a fiver is to make your own. It's not exactly difficult!
