Hi,

I am working at a summer school in Brighton this year and will be planning the activity program for the school.

Age group is 13 - 17 and would like some ideas of where I can recommend to the manager, for places to see, and things to do.

We can travel about 60 miles from Brighton.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Cable Skiing - (water sking round lake using above-head cables and not a boat) Thorpe Park, Surrey area i think, or the little one on the sea-front at Hove Lagoon. Really good fun for that age range.

Go-ape (tree zip-wires etc), but don't know if there is one near here, I use the one in Moors Valley, Ringwood, Dorset.

Guildford Spectrum, ice-skating, swimming, bowling complex etc.

Basically there loads to do....but not really in Sussex, cause we aint got the space to build them what with the South downs (A.O.N.B's) getting in the way of urbanisation.

Take em for a walk on sea-fronts or downs, there thats settled it.

Was going to say Amberley Chalk Pit Museum but someone already has, but I guess the obvious place for all it's historical and cultural splendour would be London.
