What is the point of buying them if you can't get more channels, and if you get good reception on an ordinary radio?

You CAN get more channels. You can get 6Music, BBC7, Sport Extra, 1Xtra, the Asian Network, all the commercial digital stations, and perfect reception on Five Live and the World Service. And that's without considering all the extra local stations you can get.

I don't bother listening to the radio in the bath and it's an expense just to be able to do that
