Your friendly neighbourhood geek here again;
Finally got around to signing up to Club Nintendo and registering my points (5000 are working, but half don't seem to work) - and wondered if anyone would be willing to donate theirs, if they don't plan to ever use them.
The points are collected (slowly - a full price game is worth 250 points - which 'buys' you a background wallpaper for your PC) and then traded for items. A pin code on a small card in the boxed retail game (Wii or DS) is inside many games and the boxed consoles themselves (1000 points each - 1/5 of a Zelda beach towel)
It's basically there for cheap market research for Nintendo (you do a survey when you register the product) but some stuff is exclusive. As some may know I collect retro games stuff in my spare time so lots of it is useless junk I could give a happy home.
If anyone does have any spare, could they get in touch? I'd really appreciate it!
