As someone who watched Robbie Fowler play at Perth Glory last season, I don't think he would be good enough in the Championship, or even if we were still in Leauge One.

What a GREAT signing that would be.

Maybe if we can get Fowler, Owen and Harry Kewell there'a chance we can tempt McManaman out of retirement too - just about enough to drain Mr Bloom's pockets and land us back in L1 by this time next year.

I would say there's room in the squad for maybe 1 player in the Kish mould (experienced pro with a lot to offer in terms of nous), but someone from the very top just looking for another pay day? No thank you please...
