I've finally got my arse into gear and sorted out the NSC account with Jelsoft, the supplier of vBulletin. I've paid them some cash and downloaded the latest version of vBulletin.

We (notice how I'm dragging someone else into this now, in case it goes wrong) will be looking to upgrade NSC sometime soon-ish.

Just a warning really: Many things may change, many things may get broken. You could never see NSC again.

The idea is that NSC will return better than ever, with enriched functionality and lots of little things that don't currently work, working again.

Fingers crossed, eh?

So it'll be NSP for about 3 months then whilst this happens?...

 :jester:

I'd do it just to annoy you chaps, and the torment you'd have with being inundanted with all the '****s' as the fine users of this messageabord are oft-referred to on the dark side.

Can you define soon?

Are pm's and existing threads likely to be lost?

Maybe today soon. Should be this week.

No, it's a vBulletin upgrade so everything that currently exisits *should* still exist after the upgrade.

Can we discuss Falmer decision when it's actually made on the 9th, given that's very soon? Or will problems with the upgrade prevent?

I will not be happy if I lose my avatar as it's not saved anywhere.

Might I respectfully suggest that you save it somewhere, now?

:dunce: That is a really good idea. Why didn't I think of doing that?! Hans, you may have just saved Ms Dita Von Teese.
