I've just been pestering the council's city parks office and they are going to ring me tomorrow to tell me when the pitches will be marked and the goals put up

if its not for a while i'll try and convince them its a good idea to do it sooner rather than later

I also asked how much it would be to hire out the pitch, including nets etc as i seem to remember last season it was aroung £40-£50 which would work out at a couple of quid each!

sort of but i only asked about using it this thursday, i think to use it more than once you will have to enter into some sort of contract for the whole season and as it will be to dark to play by about the end of september i only asked about the one game.

they sent me an e-mail back saying that i will get a response within 3 working days, a bit too late if payment needs sorting out before we use the pitch!
