I find the football takes precedence straight after a match for a few days or if something of significance occurs such as a transfer or LDC's decision not to go to court. Even then numerous people post the news "first" so the Mods rightly have to merge all those threads in to 1.

If you'd been around on Monday you'd have seen numourous threads about the performance, about Wilkins, McGhee (again) and Dick 'Tight' (hardy har har). However on each and every one of those threads the same people were saying exactly the same things.

A split board would be a mistake IMO, it's only the 'other' threads that keep it worth looking at.

I was talking to a few other NSC light users y'day and they were commenting the same - especially annoying is when you miss interesting Albion discussion because it's not on page 1 due to......constant crappy threads being started. Unfortunately if you dare mention something like this then the NSC cliche flame you. Not that I give a **** of course, most of them are gobby kids who wouldn't know Peter Ward from Ashley Neal.
