Haven't dyed my hair in years, but bleached... Although Mr Beckham means I now have a rush appointment to have it all cut off, can't look like the twat.

Use a decent shampoo and a decent quality conditioner or it will seriously start to feel like straw. The dye probably came with a sample of the one they recommend as being the least likely to f*** it up, I've found they're generally right.

The "oh, and don't go swimming" bit doesn't quite apply to dyed black, so I might leave that out... oh wait
