Im sure our Scottish fans will confirm that as its got a double consonant it's Dobbie - as in house elf.

If it had one b it would be pronounced Dough-bee as in Scott.

Now this conversation is getting silly(or is that sigh-ly!!!)

I'm sure Stephen himself will confirm that it's DOUGH-BEE.

Should be Dob bee, but I assume the player prefers Dough bee?

Crikey, this is the second time we have had a Dough-bee Dob-bee poll. Both times it's been pointed out that is in FACT DOUGH-BEE yet the poll is 60-40 in favour of the wrong pronunciation?

Hardly surprising when you remember that so many fans STILL pronounce Poyet wrong, after three years

I am actually guilty myself as saying it with a French accent is much easier, I have to think about it first to pronounce it as it should be.

Even given those two options, I still think Mr Aspinall will plump for Doo bee.
