Its all done and dusted but which was the best summer blockbuster film of 2007 ???

1. Spiderman 3 - $ 885 million
2. Pirates 3 - $ 957 million
3. Die Hard 4 - $ 354 million
4. Harry Potter 5 - $ 914 million
5. Transformers - $ 678 million
6. Shrek 3 - $ 756 million
7. Simpsons - $ 481 million

I have included 6 and 7 whilst not strictly blockbusters their box office demands they are included in the poll.

Sunshine and Fantastic 4 are better than all the above.

If I had to choose from the list it would be Transformers or Die Hard

Transformers was not Gash Tim by any stretch. I found Bourne very dissapointing mainly because Greengrass had a severe case of Parkinson's disease which after an hour started to really spoil the film. If he had invested in a tripod to steady his camera it could have been quite good.

What is a blockbuster then?

A huge budget to hire household names and fund special effects to make up for drab and predictable story lines.

What an unimaginative bunch of films. Most of them are 'repeats' or copies of TV shows!

Transformers was not gash, but it was HUGELY overrated and completely dull for the second half. Telling the things apart was impossible at the end. The old movie remains the better ("That's a question you should be asking YOURSELF, Megatron").

Of the films listed, I most enjoyed Die Hard and Harry Potter.
