I've only ever been to two NS nights

One at The 100 Club in London, and another in a remote village hall in West Sussex

I aked the lady running the latter why have it there, as it was miles from anywhere, and she said, 'Exactly...'

were you a little taken aback at how tatty and small the 100 club was/is? I certainly wasn't expecting the home of punk rock and Northern Soul in the south to be like that.

Great nights though.

Jazz Place is on Ship Street underneath the Smugglers, it used to be the Jazz Rooms I think, its a good little venue, not too big or poncy and generallly not full of twats.

Its on til 3am so still worth a fiver i think for 3 hours of banging tunes. We were at capacity last month by about 1.30ish.

Great nights though.

I was surprised how small and pokey it was, but looking at the photos around the walls, of the likes of the Stones, The Jam, The Pistols etc. made it more resonant. It was a NS all-niter, but me and my pals baled and went and sat in Regents Park with some tinnies when we realised a) we didn't recognise a single record, and b) we were NEVER going to master dancing to the beat

Me & 'Conboy' got DRAGGED into Oceania on Thursday Night ( ). Dizzee Rascal followed by RIHANNA, followed by Katy Perry ( I think my exact words to him were "I've payed £5 to listen to RIHANNA. Gimme Freda Payne anyday.

Seriously underrated was Evie Sands IMO. This is a better version than Dusty's but Dusty's version was brilliant too. Thanks Al. I'll definitely be up for that. TMLS and I will probably get suited and booted for that too!

There will definitely be one in October its October 9th.. Its always the second saturday of the month.

If any of you are on faceache theres a group just called unhooked generation which you can join an all that stuff and you'll get invites etc.

Its over 18's rather than 21's I think they can be a bit strict on ID but you don't have to be over 21.

I'm sure there were other questions my brain hasn't quite engaged itself yet..
