Nobody wants a drum but how about a bloke with a loud hailer? Seems to work a lot on the continent resulting in some impressive co-ordinated songs. Don't really see how the club could object.

They're banned I'm sure.

The lack of vocal support for Barnsley doesn't seem to have affected their team's performance too much tonight.

The lack of vocal support for us around The Amex had the opposite effect for the first hour.

Agree with this. Pretty much every club on the continent have someone at the front of the stand conducting the crowd and all those clubs on the continent have class support.

So only the Albion team are weak-willed enough to be affected by a quiet crowd, whereas the Barnsley team aren't?

If that was the case, we deserved to lose.

No, we lost because we were not aggressive enough in our defending, we didn't play to a high enough tempo, and played the whole match with one recognised striker, making it easy for their defence.

Not only poor atmosphere but very negative. Some of it was a disgrace. Proper on players backs the first time Barnsley got in our area. We are not streets ahead of anyone and anyone In championship can cause problems.

Get a grip those hissy fitting for **** sake

Calm down! Even management teams get on player's backs for not being tight enough at the back. But when the paying public do it, it's a disgraceful?

Way to early by our fans . They expected easy win .

I think Brighton fans are generally quite forgiving of their own team not being ahead in a match. But tonight, I think they detected a lack of resolve and desire early on, for which they are far less forgiving.
