Thought the shorts would look quite good down the beach next summer, only to be told by the club shop that they are not being sold.

I am sure they don't sell many pairs of adult shorts so can see the logic of the decision, but the navy ones are a million times better than the yellow ones.

There were Navy Brighton (Erea) training shorts for sale on Ebay recently ...

They designed the shirt so it could be worn with the current shorts, therefore fans don't have to fork out for some more.

For f***'s sake. What a load of rubbish.

"carefully designed"

The shirt is standard off-the-shelf design from Errera - far-right here: http://www.erreapoint.it/catalogo2.asp?ID=2&codice=NEW PREMIER

"so that fans would not have to fork out for a complete new kit"

Only a small minority buy shorts anyway. No one would accuse the club of ripping anyone off if they made new shorts available!

Very, very lame excuses for not stocking the shorts imo.

Come to think of it, I was going to buy the socks too.

Grrr!

Yeah, you'd look great parading around town wearing the full kit. :lolol:

Makes a change from the Village People Red Indian outfit that you normally find him wearing every Thursday outside the Brighton Centre.

The socks and the shorts were more appealing than the top!
