He's resigned.

He said the role now required him to be available at short notice and this was "inappropriate in a part-time non-executive position".

How the other half live, different planet, absolutely just off the scale in relating to the real world. I'm on a Primary School Governing body completely voluntarily. Our chair, a magistrate in Brighton would know, and expect to be available at short notice should something occur at the school needing immediate attention, even an Ofsted inspection would have us up there at a drop of a hat.

However, Sir Big Bollocks, doesn't feel the need to be instantly available for his part time £100k per year 'non executive' role, while people in the real world lose their homes and livelihoods. Despite a 3 day a week 6 figure position, he told David Cameron he would work 7 days a week in this vital position...before getting his knighthood no doubt...

What an absolute disgrace.
