Standing could be a decent signing, a creative midfielder which we obviously need, I think he offers more in terms of breaking things down than Stokes who is a good passer but doesn't seem to play the killer balls.
He offered to play for free on non contract terms for Brentford in order to prove himself so he's got a good attitude. AND I'm pretty sure he's an Albion fan.

The worry is why didnt Bradford want him on those terms? Hes done f*** all at any club hes been at, I mean he couldnt even cut it at a piss poor Wallsall, that is a big worry, and if he wasnt DKs nephew I bet we wouldnt be up for him at all.
