Simply says "construction delays out of their control" and that they are all disappointed by the slow progress.

I was looking at the old maps of the area the other day, and it turns out they're building the new fanzone on an old Indian burial ground.

I don't think it's any surprise they've been affected by unforeseen delays.

I was there about a month ago just before the season started, after mincing along to the club shop.

It looks EXACTLY the same. If these blokes were building my extension, all tea perks would be suspended.

The hard work is done - Foundations, drainage and services, the superstructure will be a steel frame with precast floors, so should go up quickly, so I can only guess that the delay is down to the availability of specified materials / components.

On another building tack….walking from the P&R busses, I was amazed how the Bennett’s field car park is being dug up. I assume this is for the building of the flats next to the ground?

someone was saying that it’s student flats, but I thought it was flats etc for the general public.
