Just a heads up to anyone who didn't see the press release, it isn't finalised, the design was half-finished, with the face needing amendments, so the scaffolding is back up and work is being done at the moment, the launch date is next week. You have to remember that it is a 7.5 metre piece and they can't see it with the sheet up, therefore the final design isn't complete yet.

Okay mate

If it wasn’t finished why take the scaffolding down in the first place or is it going back up as someone has looked at the finished piece and said come back and fix this monstrosity

That sounds great but it doesn't explain his 3 fingers on his right hand, and there is nowhere for the his 4th to be hidden, or be added. Needs much more than an amendment tbh.

Scaffolding gangs are well paid, but most of their time isn't spent actually erecting or dismantling scaffolding if they are jobs of this size. They are therefore relatively expensive, so you don't dismantle scaffolding just to 'have a look' behind it!
