If Layer Caker (cue Michael Gambon deep voiceover "That my son is the Layer Cake") was touted as the BEST of the post-Lock Stock Brit gangster flick genre I'm glad I didn't waste my time watching any of the others. A film of style over content but Daniel Craig was definately the best thing in it.

As for Bale, no one who has seen American Psycho can doubt that he was the boy for the part of JB, Batman not withstanding.
