As TV showed, the ref originally brought out the yellow card. Ramirez knocked it from his hand. Only when he saw the wound (which was horrible) did he bring out the red. Hmmm, not sure about that.
Thought that was an awful foul, to be fair and deserved a sending off.
The injury was nasty but he won the ball and was evidently not malicious imo. Sidwell played well when he came on and has grown into his position since a couple of shaky games early on.

You obviously didn't see the elbow from Knockeart which would have been a booking in most other circumstances. A second in this case.
