I popped along to St James Park a few times as a neutral, first match was the Carling Cup against Stoke which saw a certain Kazenga Lua Lua make his debut (I thought to myself then he was a bit special).

I admit on my last visit I wasn't entirely neutral... I enjoyed watching them beat Palace in the Championship
