we need to sign a forward before saturday

No...we need a system that feeds the strikers. We hardly had a shot on goal from any forward player tonight , because there is no service to anyone in the box...especially away from home . Suarez and Aguero wouldnt have scored tonight ! Its all very well saying that we need CMS to score 20 goals...... He may score a few at the Amex, but away ?..unless we change the way we play away from home, we are going to score very few goals . And we defended soooo deep tonight in the second half. We just let Swindon come onto us !

We should be more concerned about the ability to be more aggressive and potent away from the Amex.To create chances. Best form of defence is attack...it stops you defending so deep. Tonight has certainly shown the guys that arnt up to it !

Calm down mate...

I know that it is, but he's only trying to create conversation with other Albion fans...

That's not really encouraged on NSC.

The best bet is just to slag people off and add nothing to any discussions.

Seems to work for 90% of people that post on here

yes we are in dire need of a forward and I can't see that happening in the short term. As others have said last night was another example of many an away insipid performance the like of which will continually make it difficult for even the best frontman to florish. That needs looking at as much as the forward player. We are a totally different side at the Amex.

Absolutely right! We could sign 10 bloody forwards but they're gonna have to run back to Bridcutt to get the ball or sit on the edge of the box and wait for balls to rain over from the FB's. Gus has to get the tactics right, inject a bit of pace, presence and grit in MF, before we sign every available forward we can find.

The trouble is that we cannot play against teams that close us down quickly.

This has been proven many times last season, and has been very obvious recently.

Chelsea Gave us space to pass the ball, and we were victors, Hastings / Swindon closed us down, and got physical with us, and then we get turned over.

Simple

This. Unfortunately Dunk/Greer don't seem 100% confident when on the ball with the opposition closing them down. Bruno on the other hand, welcomed pressure and dealt with it.
