I have still got Navarro down as my favourite Albion player. I have done since Poyet's first game. If he was a better athlete he would be a great player.

Silly old bat
Last season was a nightmare for him, doing his cruciate ligament in August 2010, and then not knowing if he was going to get a contract or not. I'm pleased that it's worked out for him and, top man, Tommy, for helping out. I hope he can get back into the side after his achilles woes. What goes around comes around.

As the OP says, nice story. It's a shame Navs was put through all that really, although I can understand where the club was coming from after the injury. We should all be glad that he managed to earn a new contract, those three points yesterday will probably be important at the end of the season.

Great story. Fair play to Tommy as well.

Navarro has been very good this year in my eyes but his injury meant that we got bridcutt, so worked out well for us twice in the end.
