Nathan Jones- was it a mistake not giving him the manager's role?

We were utter, utter toilet against Reading, and it was frankly criminal we came out of that game with a point. Why do some people choose to portray it as if it were Liverpool V AC Milan in Istanbul?

Correct. We were a shambles for the first half in that game. The only reason we pulled it back was down to Halford's bombs into their box causing defensive confusion and giving our players a lift; plus the fact that they subbed off Glenn Murray to make our defence's task far easier.

If you're going to make a judgement on Nathan based on a draw and a win in his 2 games in charge, then it should also be taken into account that we won both our first 2 under Hughton.

I thought Jones might have got the job, but saw Hughton as a name to be brought in after the abject failure of the previous appointment. I now wait to be impressed by Hughton, he has kept us up, but can he move on from here? I will judge him by October.
