Ive been told apparently you can download music on the internet!

Which software is best to use. Like for example which software contains the least amount of spyware?

i use Winmx its ok i guess no probs with spyware as yet

Shareaza is among the safest spyware wise - its got none.

eMule is easily the best of the lot for PC. I've got Kazaa, LimeWire, SoulSeek, eDonkey, WinMX and others but eMule constantly impresses me with its incredibly large database of users and files, its speedy searching and ability to download without affecting your overall online experience.

Furthermore you can easily find full albums as .zip or .rar files rather than having to fanny about with individual tracks which are most likely fakes as on Limewire and co.

Can't rate eMule highly enough to anyone who's not yet tried it

Where do you get eMule? A google search got stuff you need to pay for

I use Bearshare and I've shelled out for the full version. I also have a pretty efficient Spyware removal package though.

Not a good idea to publically recommend your favourite - the more popular they become, the more likely there are to be shut down.
