And unlikely to be fit for Saturday :(

Albion Rocked by Injury Crisis | Brighton and Hove Albion | News | Latest | Latest Albion Rocked by Injury Crisis

Albion boss Micky Adams is sweating on the fitness of at least six of his players ahead of Saturday's trip north to Tranmere Rovers.

Striker Glenn Murray remains extremely doubtful with the ankle problem which forced him to sit out Tuesday's game at Shrewsbury, while Adam Virgo is also struggling with an ankle problem sustained during the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie.

Colin Hawkins and Kevin McLeod are almost certain to miss out; Hawkins injured his calf early in the victory over Shrewsbury, while McLeod is still struggling with the knee problem which has dogged his season.

Stuart Fleetwood is also facing a race to be fit, while Adam Hinshelwood picked up a dead leg on Tuesday night. Albion are already without goalkeeper Michel Kuipers and midfielder David Livermore, who are both ruled out until January.

Adams does have Bradley Johnson available again. The on-loan Leeds United man was cup-tied for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Meopham, Kent.
I would assume we have written to the FL about having this game postponed. MA, unable to pick either Hawkins or Virgo!!! He must just be sat there completely lost, unable to know which way to turn.

If only we had a quality centre half on loan somewhere, we could recall them.

Times like these we need Sir Guy of Buttersby to don the colors once more. Tho Mendozas team will prob be near the mark if those stated that are injured actually are injured.

Think this is a good thing in a funny sort of way , not like we are any good with those players fit. I'd go for

------------Sullivan
Whing----El Abd----Elphick---Richards

Cox-----Thomson--Johnson-----Thornton

--------Robinson----Forster

Is Livermore still injured ? if not I'd have him rahter than Thomson
Thornton looked good on the right so if it doesnt work to start with then switch it.

You never know, by giving the likes of Robinson, Fraser Loft etc, the chance to start might actually do us some good. We haven't seen our team play as a team yet, and maybe the fringe players can offer more to the team than so called 'regulars'. What will be interesting is if we turn over Tranmere with some of the fringe players in the squad, and actually play well as a team. Will Micky then leave out the regulars, and give others a chance as he should do?
I'm quite excited that some the less regular players will get a chance on Saturday. Because we've been so poor this season, I'm sure that it can only be an improvement and maybe Micky Adams will wake up to the fact that there are a few decent players who don't always figure in his plans.

Having said that I'm sure Adams would rather play Johnny Dixon on the wing than Robinson, as he seems to have something against our Jake!

It is just as well that you are posting on a message board and not allowed anywhere near to the team. Hopefully he will be let go in January as he is nowhere near good enough for our team if we hope to climb the league.

3 goals in 6 starts.

LOFT plays against Northampton. We win. He's dropped.

LOFT plays against Man City. We win. He's dropped.

???

I cannot understand any of your recent posts. Loft is blameless this season. The only times he has played he has looked good. Wilkins clearly saw something in him and if this season has shown anything at all, it is that Wilkins was a much, much better judge of talent than Adams (or by association you) will ever be.
