Well done to Mr Coach and I'm keeping my fingers crossed he'll make it through to the final.
I know from my son's involvement in junior football and cricket how much time and effort these unsung heroes put into their sport so any award is very richly deserved

Very disappointing news arrived in the post this morning - wishing him well in his future coaching, however he was not through to the National Final.
Strange thing is - the letter was dated 19th June - the judge didn't actually come to see him until 29th June. So was the judging session just a waste of time? Shame they forgot to change the date on the letter! Makes me a bit cross that we went to all the trouble of organising a training event for him to watch if they'd already made the decision! Ah well, I think he deserved to win, but I suppose so does every other County Winner! Congratulations to whoever won in the South East!
