In "Bridges of Madison County" where Clint Eastwood waits for Meryl Streep in his pick-up in the pouring rain, hoping she will leave her husband to start a new life together. Meryl bottles out at the last moment. Always brings a lump to my throat.

I have never understood the fascination with movies. Bore me to tears. I'd rather sit in a dark room then watch 4 hours of Titanic. I'm not kidding.

In Muriel's wedding when he finally kisses her after her mother's funeral. Was supposed to be an "awww" moment but I burst into very noisy sobs in the cinema much to my own suprise and that of my fellow cinema-goers.

When I went to see Phildelphia, the cinema was also showing My Life and Schindler's List. One of the cinema staff said she felt like topping herself because everyone left the building in floods every night.
