I reckon West Ham must come close to the biggest away following in 1978. They had the north east corner, half of the East terrace,and large pockets of them all round the ground.Over 32 thousand packed into the Goldstone that eventful afternoon.

Remember that. They were poorly supported all other seasons, but their promotion game, with dozens & dozens of coaches.
