Has it not snowed in HH since I left there at 9.30 last night then? There was more snow there then than there was in Hustpierpoint. We now have about a foot. I'm planning to go nowhere today.

Doesn't seem to have done! I've seen tv pictures of a bloke in a blizzard in London, but it seems to have missed HH since about 6pm last night!

Just had a text from a fellow commuter who has attempted London from Brighton, and he is stuck at Burgess Hill.

BBC website now says Gatwick Express suspended.

Can someone who works on the railways explain to me why Southern trains between Brighton and London are suspended while First Crapital ones aren't? It's obviously nothing to do with the track so it must either be that the FCC trains are better or that the FCC management/staff are better. Which is it?

If that was Ken, I'm sure the Evening Standard could spin it as "MAYOR ENCOURAGES DRIVING IN DANGEROUS CONDITIONS. RECKLESS BEHAVIOUR BY LIVINGSTONE"
