Not *too* old though - hooked into the late70s/early 80s mod revival with me desert boots, zoot suit (of sorts) and trilby for a while. Remember seeing The Merton Parkas and The Lambrettas at some dive in Brighton at one point in that period, as well as the mighty Jam at uni in Cardiff. Great memories.

Bit short notice but have a couple of spare tickets to see Chris Farlowe tomorrow night over in Worthing. Me and Marcus (Tony Meola Loan Spell) are going over. PM me if interested.

In my humble opinion, the greatest blue eyed soul singer from that era and having seen him before can confirm that he's still got the voice.

(Number one when we won the World Cup too)

Live at the Florida Room (Sea Life Centre to anyone under thirty.) Every other week in the early sixties. One shilling and six pence (7p) for an evening of the Who.
Four shillings for petrol to run my GS160 for the week, and about half that to watch the Albion from the chicken run. Happy days.:D

Give you a bit of a clue.

This arrived in the post for me, quite literally TODAY.

Dress closer to mod than rocker

Scooters can f*** off though.

Motorbikes are far better.
