I dont mind paying money for a good service and a good deal. I currently pay £40 a month, and that inclides 850 mins anytime any network and unlimited texts on vodafone.

I'm with 02, and I recently negotiated a Nokia N95, with 1000 texts, 600 minutes and month and free Internet for £20 a month on an 18 month contract. Well happy with that. :bounce:

With Orange at the end of a contract £50 a month, but for two phones (one mine one wife). Apparantly we dont use our phones enough to get more than one choice of new phone (as per companies ringing up who know our contact is finishing) so if going to ring orange direct soon to see what they offer, but may tell them to stuff it.

My girlfriend was looking last week, and she found 1100 minutes OR texts, on 3, for £20 a month (18 month contract). Looked like a decent selection of phones too. It was an online-only special offer, as for £18 you only got 500 minutes or texts (and £21 got you 700!).

I am on T - Mobile Flext 35. It is £30 a month and you get £180 worth of texts and calls, (charged at 25 p a minute calls, and 12p a text i think) i am on the staff rate (due to a mate working for them) so had been paying half - so £15. Last month when they called to upgrade me.......i opted not to take the phone so they gave me a £10 a month rebate....

So now I pay the grand total of £5 a month and only go over that when I go abroad.

If you have BT Broadband at home, then you would be mad not to go for their 'Anywhere' offer, you will get a Blackberry style phone, unlimited internet, 50 mins and 50 texts for £5 a month on top of your normal £23.99. Bargain.

Similar to you Papa.
O2 renewals team(the last ditchers) offered me 400 mins(double what I was on), 400 texts(quadruple what I was on) a silver LG Viewty(which is the phone i've been after, and its great) and lowered my bill from £25 to £16 a month. All because I told them I wanted out as 3 were offering better deals

Indeed - all you need to do is ring them up, ask for a PAC code and then spin them a yarn about being offered some great deal by T-Mobile... they seem to have the power to offer some incredible offers which 02 shops etc cannot get near to matching.

The N95 is cool, as it allows me to use our home Wireless connection (when at home of course).

On Orange

I pay £30 a month for 350 minutes and 200 texts - HTC orange-branded phone

My son has just switched his Orange PAYG to a contract on my account. For £22.50 a month he gets 600 minutes and unlimited texts. Plus his bird is on Orane as well so he's got her as his magic number.
