Planning on making my debut tonight with a couple of fellow debutants.
Is there a set time when a service starts? Or does it vary from Church to Church?

We are going, go every year.

They added our daughter to the Prayer List for the service so I really feel we have to go this year.

Half past eleven service here. It's always a nice service, The Mass of the Nativity

Is there a set time when a service starts? Or does it vary from Church to Church?

I go regularly. I can only speak from a Catholic point of view which is that they all start at 00:00 (being Midnight Mass), but most do carol services earlier and 11:30 as mentioned before is a good target time to arrive (whether you're Catholic, C of E or Chuch of Turkey).

Having a kid now, I always go to an earlier mass, but there's usually a more special atmosphere for the Midnight masses and I would recommend it to anyone whether they have are spiritually inclined or not.

Depends if you are going to your nearest church which you have remained faithful to and help to maintain, or are planning on travelling to a more glamorous church a few miles away?

I'm a glory Catholic,I only go to church on Easter and Christmas
