We’ve got form in starting a t20 season like a steam train and then falling off a cliff.
Mitigating factors tonight but even so the batting had been pitiful . I worry about salt. The commentators always say he’s in form but he hasn’t looked right for a few games.
The other batters are unreliable.
A lot rests on Wright. He can’t bail us out every game.
What with all the bad weather and the Surrey shambles we are struggling now.

It was to consolidate, not to risk losing a third wicket.

It didn’t work, and I wasn’t happy with it at the time too.

Don’t want to sound a broken record, but loosing 5 matches has taken all momentum form the batsman. Why we played a strong second 11 team in one of the 2nd 11 games at Arundel. Going to be very tough to pick up again, which is needed tomorrow at Glamorgan.

Head is getting a bit better but i still can’t imagine him making a match winning innings.
Maybe brown in as a specialist bat? It happened last season. Or Ward, who doesn’t move his feet but got stuck in tonight.
I hope it’s not Thomason. He’s done well in long form but he shouldn’t be around t20.

This was Lords. not SCCC. Only two tickets (we needed three) and have to be part of the same household or support bubble (we are not). Sussex restrictions are not so tight.
