I popped into Tesco the other day and looked at the CDs, they only sell chart CDs, how the hell does a CD get into the charts in the first place?

They also sell pre-selected new releases, which are guaranteed to chart as a result. You can't get a dance album in the charts unless your name is "Paul van Dyk" or "Tijs Verwest" over here as a result of them, Heatons (think Woolworths with more clothes) and even f***ing HMV doing this now. Ditto selected pre-existing rock bands, all the old crooners, and whatever pop whores are being pimped by the labels.

I am very sad the shop is shut, I dropped by the shop this evening to take a look and it's depressing. Good luck for the future to all those who worked there. Thanks for keeping it going for 30+ years.

We should get some like minded souls together and open a new shop in it's honour!

Probably another estate agent, crappy take-away food outlet, charity shop or some such. It won't be anything useful thats for sure.
