A lot of the long away trips come in a space of 8 weeks.

25th October A v Hartlepool
15th November A v Carlisle
25th November A v Stockport (Tuesday night)
6th December A v Oldham
20th December A v Tranmere

8th and 29th November FA Cup 1 & 2 dates so it could be loads of travelling!

Hartlepool and Carlisle in a row! And Hartlepool is exactly a year after we won there last season

Well, you could argue that Crewe isn't that hard to get to and in theory we can beat them ....... Hardly thrilling though.

Bit disappointed at Carlisle in November, not convinced a few days in the Lake District will be quite so attractive this time.

How crap that both Peterborough and Leicester away are midweek.

Just checked the Premier League fixtures and there appears to be no 'Grand Slam Sundays' next season. Why have they taken away two of the nations favourite footballing dates??

Because they always turn out to be over-hyped shite?

Phew. Saved a potential massive row with Mrs P. We have a wedding to go to on August 9th, so I'm really rather chuffed we are away on opening day.
