Maths problem for the very bored

It can be done without jiggery pokery I promise.
I'm off for a liquid lunch now, what are the chances you will have the answer by the time I get back?

After a truly fascinating hour and 15 minutes... I've finally nailed the bastard!

Thank you so muck Lokki7 for consuming my lunchbreak

The answer is: 6 / ( 1 - (5/7))

I couldn't get it on my own. I only came up with a few Barnet Seagull efforts. One of my customers who has a doctorate in maths took an hour to get the answer.

Again.

Lokki

you absolute bastard. I've spent ages trying this shit, and it doesn't even work.

5 / 7 = 0.71
1 - 0.71 = 0.29
6 / 0.29 = 20.69

I didn't realise it was, try to get a number quite near 21. Arse.

Think of it in terms of fractions and don't do it on a calculator (wich rounds up) and it works perfectly I promise you. 6 divided by the fraction 2/7...
