Ah, I see - my brain doesn't usually start functioning before 10am (and even then it is usually on reduced capacity until lunch!).

I always find that an enormous mug of tea helps - in that you are too occupied drinking it to worry about doing any actual work, or trying to think!

One of the most famous instances was sometime during the early 1900's when a visiting Notts County side who were on tour of Italy at the time, had to lend a poverty stricken Juventus team their kit.

This is why Juventus play in Black and White, all down to Notts County.

Can't remember when exactly, but I remember Reading turning up at the Goldstone with a away kit of Blue & yellow hoops. We let them wear it & played a home match in the horrible pink kit :rant:

It was not the 'pink' kit but the rather odd 'chewitts sweet wrapper' kit we had at the same time as the stripey shorts kit.
