She was made chief executive of the Nottinghamshire club last week after striking up a friendship with club chairman John Radford, 45, who offered her a job.


The pair deny their close relationship had any impact on her appointment to the Blue Square Bet Premier club, nicknamed The Stags.

Repeated rumours had suggested the pair were an item, a claim which Carolyn failed to deny.

And now the couple have revealed they are officially together and getting hitched.

A spokesman for the Blue Square Bet Premier club — one level below the football league — confirmed the news yesterday but said Carolyn did not want to comment.

Speaking after landing the job, the blonde said: "This has been a genuine appointment. I have worked hard to get where I am."

Last week it was revealed by The Sun that she had previously worked for an escort agency — and went on scores of dates.

Carolyn, believed to be originally from Lancashire, is thought to have been first lured into escorting as a politics student almost ten years ago.

BBC News - Carolyn Still arrested at Mansfield Town-York City game

The chief executive of Mansfield Town Football Club was arrested during the game with York City on Wednesday night.

It is understood that Carolyn Still was cautioned for using threatening words and behaviour on Grosvenor Terrace next to York's Bootham Crescent stadium.

The 29-year-old became the youngest chief executive in English football when she was appointed by Mansfield last September.

York City director Sophie Hicks said Ms Still had left Wednesday's game early.

During the eventful Blue Square Bet Premier play-off semi-final Mansfield survived the sending off of striker Matt Green and an own goal by defender Exodus Geohaghon to hold York to a 1-1 draw.

Ms Hicks told BBC Radio York: "The [Mansfield] chief executive, who is a fellow lady in football, was quite distressed and disturbed by last night.

"I think the occasion got to her. It was a bit difficult for Mansfield. She was a bit distressed in the stand and did leave the game early."

Mansfield Town have declined to comment.
