I also thought that strange as Forest announced they had tested their players to confirm they were negative.
So if Forest could do it, why not Arsenal?

Stop the season now - no relegation or promotion. BUT run next season as usual, except everyone starts in the same position they ended this season.

So Norwich on 0 points, Aston Villa on 4 points, us on 8 points etc. All the way up to Liverpool who start on 61 points.
Then away we go with a full season as normal, but with all dis/advantages so far accumulated this season 'carried forward'.

Or, as already suggested, stop the season now and call it null and void - just for the opportunity to laugh at Liverpool and Leeds.

Cancelling the season would be a disaster ordinarily but denying Liverpool a title would be so funny.

I’m not sure why anyone thinks this will all have blown over by next season.

I was applying a bit of 'glass half full' strategy ..... your point is acknowledged and understood though.
