Quite right. They're pretty fed up that Abu Dhabi Emirate is the largest and richest but Dubai gets all of the attention. They're spending megabucks developing AD and I guess this is another step on the way to becoming the biggest attraction in the region.

I like the place having been there several times. I've lived in parts of the US that get nearly as hot as there but in Abu at least everywhere has working A/C. The Arabs are actually very friendly I found and I wouldn't mind living there. I have been to Dubai and frankly find it a bit artificial. Abu as the capital is a bit more traditional but it's not as repressive as some Arab states. I think City will do well and with any luck they might lose the slightly bad small left by Thakin and his past.

Owen and Berbatov would be no match for Richards, Elphic, The HAWK, and Whing.

Not really, at worst this is a sidestep. These people are probably less corrupt/murderous than Shinawatra.

:)

It's still more money going into football and more passion going out.

If that is the case I wonder if they'll build a football stadium there, they already have a very large cricket stadium.

So the 50000 seater Jeque Zayed national stadium dont exist?
