The first episode was 2 bloody hours!

My family are watching it now, while I browse NSC.

Just as with curvy Emma being setup with slim loving Casper in the UK edition, they've gone and done the same thing again. They've taken a curvy lady with extremely low self-esteem, and put her with someone who prefers a more petite lady, so she's going to be devastated and we can all say how terrible he is.

The producers are horrible.
Top multitasking. My turn next.

He spent the first episode saying he doesn't have a type so maybe he's a bit confused, I mean he hasn't even given her a chance.

We don't know what he told the producers when applying for the show. If he didn't say anything about size, then it's on him, but I suspect he did. You might not have a specific type, whilst also having some things you don't like. And they've deliberately edited the first show to highlight him saying he doesn't have a type.

It's very damaging for her. Take someone with low self-esteem and then set them up to get rejected on TV. She deserves better.

Agree that the producers should take more responsibility to avoid setting up people with fragile self esteem with people who might not be into their body type. But he might have just told them that he has no type.

We know that Casper told them before he was matched, and they just came out with BS about trusting the reasons why they matched them. Let's see if he tells us at some point that he clearly told the show he doesn't like curvy girls.

I think she's better looking than him, but that's not the point.

One identical twin has just married another. The identical brother asks the identical sister 'Does your sister have a child?' The reply?

'I don't know'

Lauren - so far so good but a mental sister. Eliot - big enough of a prat to be a Palace fan.

Carina - so far so good. Paul - seems a reasonable bloke.

Katie - probably ill advised to go on this, nice but fragile. Tim - boring.

So earlier in the week, two people were matched, who'd actually been on a date before.

And then today, we've got yet another couple who've dated before!

WTAF? Are they not capable of matching people together who've not already dated? Are the producers incompetent, or is it just that all Aussies have had a go on each other?

Mrs GB has been binging this today while I’ve been watching sport on the other telly. Now I’ve joined her and the dog as the plus size wedding dinner is happening. Awkward doesn’t even cover it. Might open more wine.

Don't know what you lot are doing wasting your lives watching this trash when you could be watching the BBC's latest reality show based on chess!

I can play chess (to a basic level) but it has never made for good tv and trying to then inject a "reality" slant doesn't work for me. Chess is ok to play but it isn't a spectator sport.
