'I just died in your arms last night...'

And then, like Lazarus, managed to wake up and tell us about it? ???

Without wishing to be pedantic, about your chosen pendanty, the lyric in question was;

'Whaaaaaaaaat, if I died in your arms tonight?'

The Jam, from That's Entertainment

"Two lovers missing the tranquility of solitude"

Are they each missing their own individual solitudes? The inference is they are missing some impossible kind of solitude that two people can be in. If it's solitude there can be only one of them in it.

Or if you like, from the same song

"Waking up at 6 a.m. on a cool warm morning"

Come on Weller, is it cool, or warm? FFS

'check in any time you like but you can never leave'

yes you can, you just go out the door you came in

no you cant because its a ghost house and once you are in you are in effect dead!

No, it's "Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight." The next lines are either "Must've been something you said" or "Must've been some kinda dream" depending on which chorus it is, so your version makes even less sense!
