Just watching the build up to the Conference play off semi. They've just showed some of Luke Rodgers goals for the Shrews.
He definitely looks the sort of player who could do damage for us.

Also PAUL STEWART when at Blackpool
TREVOR STEVENS when at Burnley
PAUL RODGERS when at Sutton.

These are players that I reported on when asked, and was overruled by George Aitken then Chief Scout as not being good enough.

We also sent Ian Wright away as a not potentially good enough.

Unfortunately i think Rodgers is at the level he will ever be any good at, Conference - Div 3. + he is unlikely to ever leave the midlands as he does not want to move away from his family (as I understand it) for this brummie.

wherever the money is
We could not afford him as the Shrews have turned down £250k from Crewe for him already

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Rodgers is a little pikey straight out of the David Speedie textbook on being a right little WANKER.

Div 3 at the very best.

Rogers is just like lee steel was in the 3rd division and simply he isn't good enough for the 2nd or upwards although gives all.

Them two are so simular:)

Yeah but how many do you see who do great with the huge jump in divisions?
Rogers is the same sort as player as steel and although i must admit we should have kept still looking at what we have had mmmm.:lolol:

dont really rate him. might be ok cover in div 2. but we have mcphee and robinson as good cover. and he certainly would not be upto div 1 in my opinion.
