Albion will still be without Kazenga LuaLua for Saturday's trip to Reading.
The explosive left-winger winger has missed the last five matches with a groin injury.
Boss Chris Hughton said: "Kazenga will miss out. We are reasonably comfortable where he is at the moment but we just feel he needs a little more time."
Skipper Gordon Greer and influential midfielder Dale Stephens also remain major doubts for the visit to the Madejski Stadium.
Greer has missed the last two-and-a-half matches with a knee injury and Stephens was sidelined from last Saturday's home draw against Preston by a thigh problem.
Hughton said: "We'll assess both of them tomorrow. Their training has been fairly sporadic and the work they've been able to do. Both hopefully will have a chance."
The doubt over Stephens' availability is softened by Beram Kayal's return from a ban and Jake Forster-Caskey from his loan spell at MK Dons, together with a midfield blow for Reading.
Their 20-year-old prospect Aaron Tshibola is out possibly until next year with an ankle injury.
It follows the news earlier today that Albion left-back Gaetan Bong has been sidelined for 12 weeks after surgery yesterday on a ruptured left thigh tendon sustained in the closing stages against Preston.
