Just heard that the second series is going to start on the 13 February :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Going to have set the video though, as I'll be in East London watching Robinson et al trying to hit a cows arse with a banjo :)

The little adverts have been fantastic...(in the windy miller quaker oats style)

Can't wait - Life on Mars was one of the tv highlights of the year. The adverts for the new series have been top draw - the camberwick green style plastercine (sp) men like you say Ted, and there have been some with the old style bbc globe.
Tuesday nights is not a good idea though - too often go out for a beer on a tuesday evening!

And Dragons Den is another cracker I can't wait for.

Thanks for that mate, I'm not familiar with whatever prompted the plasticine figures - but they are indeed brilliant!!

Good news, this is one of the few programmes that MUST be watched each week. Apparently it will the final series also.

BBC1

Episode written by Matthew Graham

1/8

Drama series about Sam Tyler, a Manchester detective who suffers a near-fatal car crash and wakes up in what seems to be 1973. Sam encounters the young incarnation of Tony Crane, a nasty villain he put away in 2006. He realises he is faced with the chance every copper dreams about - stopping the killer before he kills. Sam fears that since his car accident in 2006, Crane has been released and has found his way to his hospital bedside where he is exacting his revenge on Sam's vulnerable body.

Yeah - I think it's a good shout to make it just 2 series. You can drag it out a little too much - look at Lost.

Wonder how it'll end!

I reckon the twist will be he's really a copper in the 70's that's been in a coma where he's seen the future and he has to stop this murderer before he murders.

Somewhere over there...
It's a god-awful small affair
To the girl with the mousy hair
But her mummy is yelling "No"
And her daddy has told her to go
But her friend is nowhere to be seen
Now she walks
through her sunken dream
To the seat with the clearest view
And she's hooked to the silver screen
But the film is a saddening bore
For she's lived it
ten times or more
She could spit in the eyes of fools
As they ask her to focus on

CHORUS:
Sailors fighting in the dance hall
Oh man!
Look at those cavemen go
It's the freakiest show
Take a look at the Lawman
Beating up the wrong guy
Oh man! Wonder if he'll ever know
He's in the best selling show
Is there life on Mars?

It's on Amerika's tortured brow
That Mickey Mouse
has grown up a cow
Now the workers
have struck for fame
'Cause Lennon's on sale again
See the mice in their million hordes
From Ibeza to the Norfolk Broads
Rule Britannia is out of bounds
To my mother, my dog, and clowns
But the film is a saddening bore
'Cause I wrote it
ten times or more
It's about to be writ again
As I ask you to focus on

CHORUS
