Celtic..sacked, Bha..sacked. what else does one have to say.

Sacked by BHA - well, true but we all should know the calibre of the people who sacked him.

In his first half season, he did a great job getting us off the bottom of the league and we finished safely in mid-table having played the most entertaining football seen at the Goldstone for many a year.

He was then given very little financial backing (unlike Case) until the inevitable bitter end.

A good manager and man in my book.

Brady was a great player but great players don't always make good managers. Why has he not had another managers job since leaving Brighton? He's working with the Arsenal youth but that would not stop another club offering him their management position if they wanted him. Who did he sign whilst at Brighton?

Would imagine he's happier in the more secure roles of head of youth academy and TV pundit than having to put up with the uncertainness of management.

Certainly signed Minton & MacDougald, not sure he brought too many other players in on a full-time basis.

I think there are some rose coloured spectacles being worn here, he started well but by the time he left we were playing shit..can we really blame Archer and Stanley 100%?

I seem to remember a certain Steve Coppell working miracles at Palace whilst the way the club was being run fell about around his ears.

He signed Stuart Storer..who (people forget) was very poor during the first season and a half - and then in his third season went on to become the legend that he is with rip roaring performances and THAT goal.

i think we paul dickov on loan when paul dickov was good. pretty sure he scored a last minute screamer against plymouth into the south goal!

He was taking over a team completely run down by Barry Lloyd

Lloyd had to sell his best players and what was going on behind the scenes with the banks making no further money availible to the club was beginning to pull the club apart. Please don't blame Worthing's number one skate board salesman (readers of Gulls eye will remember that one)
