Why is everyone kicking off about this? Jesus, we're out of the most embarrassing trophy in the world. Mark my words, this WILL improve our chances in the league. Last year the preoccupation with this dreadful competition cost us big time. Basically, our reserves only lost 1-0 to a team in the same division as us. That's not bad. It's onwards and upwards from this.

Couldnt agree more. No doubt its just another excuse for the anti-slade brigade to have a dig. Im glad we are out this awful competition and can concentrate on fielding our best side for games that actually matter

I blame Norman Gall tonight and Jonny Byrne on countless previous occasions, losing by one goal in the dying minutes is always hastened by some kind of "only one team is going to win this" or, "Brighton are dominating" cock from the so-called specialist summariser, when will the jinxers learn?

On a more serious note, at what point does "the most depressing start to a season in years" become "the most depressing season in years"?

Your problem is you DON'T think. You react.

If i wasn't thinking then i wouldn't made a comment...............which is probably true.......i think slade is good, but he is only as good as the back room team around him...which may or may not be his choice......why did they try so hard to keep dean on as a coach........when Adams came in .....since white and booker have been promoted to first team coachs ....we have suffered!..a modern coach with new ideas is needed to help slade get the best out of some good quality players......not a reaction from someone how has been watching the albion since the 70s...........jog on!!!:bigwave:
