Sits on pole for the USA GP ahead of his team mate Alonso.
Fingers crossed he wins his 2nd race tomorrow evening:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Finished on pole even after it seemed he was struggling to get to grips with the track and the way the car was set up for it.

Well played that man.

Not a bad performance by Hamilton on his first visit to the track. Are they still favouring Lewis, Fernando? Or did he beat you in qualifying again...?

Both drivers had more or less clear tracks when doing their laps, so a lot of it was down to the drivers themselves...

A fantastic drive by Lewes hamilton again.

I think Mr Alonso has got a case of the green eyed monster. I'd bet money that he will be leaving mclaren at the end of the season.

It's scary how good Hamilton already is.

I read this week that one bookie (I forget which one) has already paid out on him being Sports Personality Of The Year.

Astounding how Lewis Hamilton has single-handedly turned Formula 1 into a must-watch event. And may even make Amerika renew the F1 deal when they looked about to ditch it.

Us Brits love supporting our teams people etc when they do well. How many people got into Tennis when Henman actually played well or got back into Rugby after the last world cup or Cricket after the home Ashes matches?
If someone is doing well from England then it is good for the sport as we all get behind them so well done Jenson last year and now Hamilton this year :)

Sport also has an almost magical power to educate right-wing racists who suddenly see beyond the colour of a person's skin and get behind, say, Lewis Hamilton or Amir Khan or Big Bad Comedy Bas - without maybe even realising it.
